Yoga Embrace was started in the Blue Mountains in 2005 as a way to spread the benefits of
Yoga and a healthy lifestyle. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced student, our classes
cater for each stage of your practice. Our philosophy at Yoga Embrace is to “embrace all that
you have in order to reach your full potential.” What we have are a mind, body and soul and our
classes will help you to achieve enlightenment, both in the physical level and beyond.

What is Yoga?

There are many styles of Yoga, all of which are derived from Hatha Yoga. I believe Yoga
to be a way of life. It is the union of the mind, body and soul- all linked together by the breath.
When all of these 4 influences are in sinc, we are balanced.

You may be familiar with Yoga as being the asanas (postures), this combined with
pranayama (breathing) and meditation is the basic structure of class. Class durations can be
between 1-2 hours. Yoga is a non-competitive environment where we all learn to move
within the ability of our own individual body, whilst reaching for a little more.
